How it Works:

The Bodystat 1500MDD  is a lightweight, hand-held, battery operated Bio-impedance Analyzer which is easy to use and requires no specialist skills. It is a non-invasive device, which measures the impedance value of the body providing a quick and accurate body composition and hydration analysis. The MDD comes with the complete Body Manager software for a full analysis of the subjects cellular health, nutritional status and overall fitness and health.

Practitioners or clinicians are informed and are able to give an accurate assessment of a patient’s health backed by hard data on whether a nutritional therapy or wellness program is working in the correct way.

It works by passing a safe battery generated signal through the body and measuring the impedance at two frequencies 5 kHz and 50kHz.  Once the test has been performed the Display Options are shown within five seconds.  A complete body composition analysis including all of the above measurements is displayed on the units Color Touch screen.

The Bodystat 1500MDD uses four electrodes (cat# 17085-2) per measurement, and an optional Thermal Printer is also available for an instant printout of the results. Your purchase includes:

The Bodystat® 1500MDD has four main cable leads of which each lead has a crocodile/alligator clip. These clips are attached to the exposed tabs on the electrodes. The subject’s Gender, Age, Height, Weight and Activity Level (optional) are entered on the touchscreen. Once the test has been performed a complete body composition analysis is displayed on the LCD screen within five seconds comprising Body Fat, Lean Body Mass, Dry Lean Mass, Total Body Water and optimal ranges. Metabolic rates, waist/hip ratio, BMI. BFMI, FFMI, and a Wellness marker are also displayed on the LCD screen.
